Turtle Facts:
Did you know that hatchlings from sea turtles do not have much of a chance for survival if their mother turtle does not lay her eggs on the beaches? Mother turtles do not like artificial lighting like street posts and lamps as well as the lighting provided by houses and hotels lying close to the sea. She will feel disoriented about laying her eggs and instead, would prefer depositing her eggs into the sea or other less safer places. This poses a threat to the survival of the baby sea turtles because they will easily be eaten by predators.
