Saint Francis Xavier was known to be an ardent preacher who performed a number of miracles. His missionary work has taken him to much of Asia including India and Goa where he converted many of the Paravars. He was also known to preach in Southeast Asia and much of Japan. His incorrupt body is now displayed in the Basilica of Born Jesus in Goa where silver platings depict the many miracles performed in his lifetime. Created in granite and is hand carved by artisans.
