Saint Anthony of Padua is one of the staunchest followers of Saint Francis of Assisi and was quick to follow the order following the matyrdom of the five friars who were said ot have been beheaded by the Moroccan king. Our sculpture of the saint highlights his stature shown with the lilies and the book. It is the book that revealed much of the mind of Saint Anthony highlighting him as one of the most powerful spiritual preachers of all time.Created in white marble and is hand carved by artisans.
