Padre Pio of Pietrelcina was born to a poor faming family in Pietrelcina. As a young boy, he demonstrated a profound love for Jesus and decided to become a priest after witnessing a miracle in a church where a mother, so griefed over her son's inability to walk, saw him rise to walk as soon as she placed him at the foot of the altar. Over the years, Padre Pio worked his way laboring many times to become a priest serving a small following and then which grew larger as the story of his many miracles spread across the country. He is credited for many miracles made during his lifetime and even long after his passing. His Feast Day is September 23.

Made in Italy.
