In these last moments, one recognizes the sorrow and love of Mary as she had to bear the loss of her son and which necessitates Mary's recognition in recognizing the love of God and for her son. Brilliantly sculpted by Italian sculptors, Our Lady of Sorrows captures Mary as she followed Jesus through his last days thus furthering the Devotion of the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Created in white marble and is hand carved by artisans.
