Crane Facts

There were many attachments given to the cranes in ancient Egypt. While at one time, the ancient Egyptians tried to domesticate the cranes, they also believed that the cranes were a symbol of the astronomer. Some also claimed that the cranes symbolized wealth and the coming of joy and prosperity. Although the ancients eventually gave up rearing the crane, they believed that the crane symbolized renewal each time it returned to Egypt.
