Did you know that marine life can be affected because of climatic changes which can cause trouble in food production for marine life species like the sea turtles? One of the food sources for sea turtles is coral reefs. Rising temperatures could lead to a bleaching effect that kills off parts of the coral reef. This problem has caused a number of coral reef ecosystems in the United States to suffer in poor condition. The Caribbean region is said to have lost 50% of its corals since 2005 because of rising sea temperatures. It could take decades to fix this situation and rebuild the coral reefs.
