Monkey Fun Facts:
One of the more intelligent monkeys, the chimpanzee lives in Africa and can be found in the woodlands, rainforests and the grasslands. They are usually herbivores consuming generally fruit and plants but sometimes, chimps will eat insects and eggs. They have also been found to eat dead meat. While most people consider these animals cute and playful, one must exercise caution when approaching them as they are strong and can suddenly get aggressive. Most chimpanzees live in large social groups known to amount to a population of several dozen at any one time. They also use tools and are clever at creating their own games. |
