Some fountains need care in very cold regions. If you live in a state where freezing could occur, be sure to drain your fountains completely and remove the pump. Your home hardware store will provide for fountain covers you can purchase to protect your fountain. The least you need is snow and ice accumulating in your fountain bowls throughout winter.
