A reproduction of the famous Michelangelo's Pieta, our Italian sculptors commit love and skilled professionalism chiseling one of the finest pieces known to mankind, a sculpture which captures the love of the Virgin Mary as the body of Christ is brought down from the cross and laid on her lap. Her expression and resignation is expressed in the eyes of the Blessed Mother as she looks upon him while Christ lies on her, almost as if he is in sweet repose. Her robes are immaculately detailed.
