Deer Fun Facts
Did you know that the deer can dash off rather fast? The common deer, the white-tailed deer, is known to run as fast as 30 mph. They are also known to leap as high as 10 feet and as far as 30 feet. Other larger deer like the Reindeer or Caribou can run at speeds of 47 mph. This is because deer have very long and slender legs which are built for speed.
